Speeding Kills!

The most important ask from residents is always why do cars speed in our street?

That is why, as Liberal Democrats, listening to residents we have put in place a 20 MPH zone in the Fenlake area of Kingsbrook ward in Bedford Borough.

We have also got Bedford Borough Council to agree to Average Speed cameras in Harrowden Road.

Both as a result of petitions from residents requesting speed reduction measures in both of these areas.

Other areas have had their road speeds reduced – to 30 MPH -such as Cambridge Road in Kingsbrook Ward.

If local councillors do not listen to their residents – and we try – then what are they for?

We keep in touch and work hard all year round , every year , not just 6 months before an election.
