One year ago our local council, volunteers and whole community of Bedford Borough achieved the following:

• Distributed over 3,000 food parcels
• Collected and delivered over 650 prescriptions  
• Assisted with the delivery of over 400 shopping requests
• Used approximately 600 volunteers who have undertaken almost 1,000 tasks relating to food distribution, prescription delivery and befriending
• Contacted nearly 2,700 Extremely Vulnerable People to ascertain their support needs

One year on, we still have Covid-19, but 12 months later we now have the vaccination.

Who would of thought it would last this long?

We must remain vigilant, take the vaccination when it is offered -now the 40+ can book there vaccine at a local vaccination centre and slowly we can move towards the freedoms we had before March 2020……
