Despite massive central government police budget cuts, Bedfordshire Police are doing some amazing team work initiatives in Bedford to help keep us all safe.

Their recent Op Arora – a response to gang issues and serious youth violence in the Bedford area –  at the beginning of October resulted in

3 x Prolific gang nominals charged and remanded for court for a variety of offences.
4 x Persons arrested for Possession with intent to supply drugs
1 x Person arrested for Possession of a bladed article
1 x Knife recovered after a stop searches.
A quantity of drugs recovered as a result of stop searches.
Multiple intelligence led stop searches on known gang nominals
Multiple intelligence reports submitted on a daily basis
