Hi again.

Firstly thank you to the 648 electors of Newnham Ward in Bedford who voted for me in the May 2015 elections. Unfortunately, you may already be aware I was not elected however the experience of campaigning, meeting residents and trying to look after an area of Bedford remains with me and will be used for future campaigning and helping residents in Bedford for the future.

I thank you for your support and hope to continue to increase this support through various ways including this blog.

So What is important to you?

Please use this blog as a site for you to respond and reply with what issues are concerning you. I have many issues that concern me so I shall start the ball rolling:

Tax Credit Cuts – Due in April 2016

Local Council cuts – The mayor is consulting you, the public of Bedford, into what services you would like to remain and which services can be reduced.

Housing – The lack of…..

The EU referendum – Will you vote in or out? .. I am interested in views from both points of view, what is my view Stay In, influence others and make it better than what it currently is, we are stronger in than out.

Human Rights – The UK set them up, if they are replaced (its in the conservative manifesto) what would this mean to you?

These are just the tip of the iceberg issues I would like to know your thoughts on……

But do not forget, local campaigners from the Lib Dems are always wanting to know what pothole wants fixing, what street light is broken, is your street tidy, safe, so that we can build communities that work together and not apart.
